Introducing the G-TAP A-TX21Chassis

The G-TAP A-TX21 chassis consists of a 1RU, 8.5” wide chassis with management, network, and tool ports at the front and power connections at the rear.

G-TAP A-TX21 Rear Chassis shows the rear of the chassis which includes fans and power supply modules.

Chassis Cooling

G-TAP A-TX21 has one fan module in chassis. The fan module has 2 x 40 mm fans assembly and a PCB assembly with protection mechanism on main board . The fan assemblies will plug into the main board directly. The chassis is designed for front to back airflow with fans on the rear of the chassis drawing cool air from the front

The fans would run at 50 percentage of maximum RPM at the start of chassis . The temperature sensor has unique thresholds such as ;Start Ramp, Max Speed, OverTemp and Shutdown. If temperature is higher than the threshold, the software would shut down the chassis. If a removed or a failed fan tray is running on the system, then the software will detect a temperature rise and trigger the shutdown at the appropriate measurement.
